2.3 Eligibility for Account Ownership

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to create an account.

If registering on behalf of an organization or educational institution, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Sikhami reserves the right to verify identity or age at any time and may request documents or information to confirm compliance.

2.4 Prohibited Account Practices

Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or platform limits.

Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

Circumvent security measures, moderation, or account restrictions.

3.7 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sikhami, its affiliates, officers, and employees against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

4. Content Ownership & License

When you create, post, upload, or share content on Sikhami (collectively, “User Content”), including text, images, videos, audio, notes, comments, reviews, or other materials, you retain ownership of your content, but you grant Sikhami certain rights to operate and improve the platform. Sikhami does not assume responsibility for user-generated content but may take action to protect the community, platform, and legal obligations.

4.6 Representation and Warranty

By submitting content, you warrant and represent that you:

Have all necessary rights and permissions to grant the license to Sikhami.

Will not submit content for unlawful purposes.

Understand that Sikhami may use, modify, or distribute content according to this license.

5. Prohibited Activities

To maintain a safe, lawful, and productive environment, Sikhami strictly prohibits certain activities. Users must comply with these rules to avoid account suspension, termination, or legal action.

You agree not to use the Services for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, or disruptive, including but not limited to:

Such monitoring may include automated systems, human review, or third-party verification, all aimed at maintaining a secure and lawful platform.

6. Moderation, Reporting & Enforcement

To maintain a safe, compliant, and high-quality community, Sikhami implements moderation, reporting, and enforcement mechanisms. These measures ensure that all users adhere to the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

6.1 Moderation of Content and Activity

Sikhami reserves the right to monitor, review, and moderate content posted on the platform, including text, images, videos, comments, and educational material.

Moderation may be conducted through a combination of:

Automated tools to detect prohibited content, spam, or policy violations.

Sikhami may remove, restrict access to, or disable content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

7.4 Enforcement and Liability

Users remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of such content and agree to indemnify Sikhami for any claims, damages, or violations arising from it.

Sikhami’s exception does not absolve users from complying with local laws or platform policies.

Sikhami may suspend or terminate a user account, in whole or in part, including access to Services, for reasons including but not limited to:

Repeated policy violations despite prior warnings or restrictions.

Termination does not release users from liability for prior violations, legal obligations, or indemnification requirements.

Voluntary termination does not absolve users from prior obligations, including payment of fees, ongoing disputes, or content responsibility.

11.5 Effect on Data

Users retain ownership of intellectual property rights in their own content, but by submitting it to Sikhami, they grant a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to Sikhami as described in the “Content Ownership & License” section.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright, trademark, patent, or publicity rights.

12.3 Reporting Infringements

Sikhami provides mechanisms for reporting intellectual property violations.

If a user believes their intellectual property has been infringed, they may submit a report following the procedures outlined in the platform’s copyright policy.

Sikhami may remove or disable access to content that is alleged to infringe intellectual property rights, while providing notice to affected users when appropriate.

12.4 Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of Platform Content without permission.

Upload or share content that violates another person’s intellectual property rights.

Use any trademarks, logos, or branding of Sikhami for commercial purposes without explicit authorization.
