Delete your Sikhami account

You can delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Choose any of the options below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Ways to delete your account

1. From the Android app

   Open Sikhami, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

2. From this website

   Log in, open Settings → Account, and choose Delete account.

3. Without logging in

   Submit the Account Deletion Request Form. Use the phone number or email registered on your account so we can verify it is yours.

4. By email

   Write to help@sikhami.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Sikhami account”.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, phone number and email.
• Your posts, clips, stories, comments, polls, likes, saves and quiz history.
• Your messages and club memberships.
• Your followers and following lists, notifications and device tokens.
• Your sign-in credentials with Google, phone or email.

Timing and retention

Deleting from the app or website removes your account right away. Requests made through the form or by email are completed within 7 working days. Copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as records of reports you filed or that were filed about your account, and payment records for purchases.
