Exly Pricing, Plans and Commissions, and How Sikhami Compares
Updated 18 October 2026 · Facts checked against the sources listed at the end
Exly is a platform for coaches, creators and experts to sell courses, workshops, classes, consultations and communities from their own webpage. Its pricing page lists three plans. Starter has no annual upfront fee and a 10% commission. Pro is ₹2,500 a month (₹30,000 billed annually) with 6%, and Premium is ₹9,000 a month (₹1,08,000 billed annually) with 3%. Sikhami is free to set up and puts your courses on a social network for learners, but it does not give you your own app.
This page is for teachers, coaches and course creators in India who are comparing Exly with other options. It sets out Exly's plans, commissions and add-ons as its own site shows them, and compares the two side by side. It also says when each one fits better, and shows how to find which Exly plan costs less at your level of sales.
Exly at a glance
Sikhami wrote this comparison, and we make Sikhami, so please read it with that in mind. We checked every detail about Exly on its own website on 18 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check them again before you decide. Exly is a trademark of its owner; Sikhami is not connected with it.
Exly calls itself a one-stop solution to launch, manage and grow your business. It is built for coaches, experts, studios, entrepreneurs and creators. Its help centre lists what you can sell: live webinars, workshops, pre-recorded courses, communities, appointments and consultations, regular classes, flexible classes, quick payment pages and merchandise.
Regular classes can run online, on Google Meet, Zoom or another link, or in person. Learners can pay once, or by a subscription that repeats weekly or monthly. Communities can run on Telegram, WhatsApp or a branded community. Exly's home page lists payments by UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, and a built-in CRM.
Exly's plans
The pricing page has a switch for Quarterly and Yearly (save 15%) billing. These are the prices it shows with yearly billing, and the commission each plan takes.
| Plan | Price | Commission | Some of what it includes |

The pricing page does not mention GST. Its FAQ says Exly charges a commission based on your plan, and offers custom pricing for large businesses and studios. It also says Exly sends booking payments to your bank account within 48 hours of the event ending.

When Exly is the better choice
Exly suits a coach or expert who sells sessions and wants sales tools in one place. It fits better in these cases.
- You sell sessions more than courses: workshops, one-to-one consultations booked into time slots, or regular classes.
- You want learners to pay for your batches online, once or by a weekly or monthly subscription.
- You want lead capture, a CRM, email automation and WhatsApp marketing together.
- You want your own branded website, or your own iOS and Android app as an add-on.
- You sell merchandise, or take payments from learners abroad.
- Your community lives on Telegram or WhatsApp, and you want to sell access to it.
Sikhami gives you no app, domain or website of your own, does not host live classes for batches, and does not collect batch fees online. If any of these is a must, Exly or a similar platform is the right pick.
When Sikhami is the better choice
- You want no plan fee at any stage. Setting up and using Sikhami is free, with no subscription. Sikhami earns only when a learner buys something paid online. It keeps a share of that sale, and Google Play also takes its fee on purchases in the Android app.
- You want to see your share before you sell. When you type a price, Sikhami shows what you will receive per sale on the website and in the Android app. A How button shows the sum.
- You want learners to find you. Sikhami is a social network for learners. Your institute and every course get a public page, and learners find institutes by browsing categories.
- You run classroom batches. Batches with a weekly timetable, attendance in one tap per student, a fee book and numbered receipts are all free. Batch fees are paid to you directly, and Sikhami takes nothing from them.
- You have a YouTube playlist. It can become a free course with tests and a certificate of completion.
- You sell small things beside classes. From your own account you can sell PDF notes, club memberships, meetups and study rooms with an entry fee.
How to try Sikhami alongside Exly
If you run classes, try Sikhami's classroom tools first and add a course later.
- Sign up on Sikhami, open Learning studio and choose New institute. Creating it is free.
- Add your logo, username, about section, email, phone, full address and map location, then publish the institute.
- Under Batches, create a batch with its mode, timetable, seats and a Google Meet or Zoom link. Add students by their Sikhami username.
- Mark attendance for each class as present, late or absent.
- Under Fees, give each student a fee plan. Record each payment you receive and issue a numbered receipt.
- When you are ready, add a video course under Courses on the website, with tests and prices, or leave it free.
Our guides to a student attendance app and fee management software cover these tools in detail. Our page on Sikhami's free LMS covers courses.
What to check before you pick a platform for classes and courses
Some platforms charge a fixed fee, some a commission, and many charge both. Work out a year's cost at the sales you expect, and check these points.
- The plan fee, how it is billed, and whether GST is added.
- The commission on each sale, and whether payment gateway charges come on top.
- When payments reach your bank account.
- Add-ons you may need later, such as an app, Zoom or extra team members.
- Whether learners can pay for batches online, and by subscription.
- Whether you can download your student list and content if you leave.
A quick sum for Exly's plans
Pro costs ₹30,000 a year and takes 6%, which is 4 percentage points less than Starter's 10%. So Pro costs less than Starter once your sales pass ₹7,50,000 a year. Premium costs ₹78,000 a year more than Pro and takes 3 points less. So Premium costs less than Pro once sales pass ₹26,00,000 a year. These sums leave out GST and any add-ons, and the plans differ in features too.

Good to know before you start
- Sikhami gives you no app, web address or website of your own. Students use the Sikhami website and Android app, with a free Sikhami account.
- Batch and classroom fees are not paid through Sikhami. The fee book records what you collect yourself, and there are no fee reminders.
- Live classes run on Google Meet or Zoom, and the batch keeps the link.
- Parents have no login. Students added by username see their own attendance percentage and fee status.
- Confirming a classroom application does not add the student to a batch. You add students to batches yourself, one at a time.
- Video courses are created on the website. Tests are multiple choice with one correct answer, and there are no PDF lectures.
- In a paid membership, only clips can be members-only, and a membership does not renew automatically.
