Use Sikhami in Claude

Works today. On every Claude plan, as a custom connector. Sikhami's listing in Claude's connector directory is waiting for review.

Connect Sikhami to Claude and you can ask Claude about Sikhami in plain words. Claude can search Sikhami's courses, notes, quizzes and meetups, quiz you one question at a time, and look at your own courses, meetups and notifications.

You log in to Sikhami once and choose what Claude may do. Claude never sees your password, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Things to ask Claude

  • Find a free beginner course on GST on Sikhami.
  • Quiz me on percentages from Sikhami, one question at a time.
  • Which Sikhami meetups are coming up in Delhi?
  • How far have I got in my Sikhami courses?
  • Do I have new notifications on Sikhami?
  • Show this week's admission enquiries for my institute. (For institute owners and admins.)

Add Sikhami on claude.ai or Claude Desktop

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click the + button, then Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the name Sikhami and the address https://sikhami.com/mcp, and click Continue.
  4. Claude checks Sikhami and picks the right settings itself (Sign in now and Register automatically). Leave them as they are and click Add.
  5. On Sikhami's connector page, click Connect.
  6. A Sikhami page opens. Log in if you are asked to, read what Claude will be able to do, switch off Act for you or Your institute's admissions if you do not want them, and select Allow.
  7. Start a chat, click +, choose Connectors and check that Sikhami is switched on. Ask a question; the first time Claude uses a Sikhami tool, it asks you to allow it.

On Claude's Free plan you can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds Sikhami once, under Organization settings, Connectors, and then each person connects their own Sikhami account. You cannot add a connector from the Claude phone app, but one you added on the web works there too.

Add Sikhami to Claude Code

Run this in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http sikhami https://sikhami.com/mcp

Then type /mcp in Claude Code, pick sikhami and sign in. Your browser opens the same Sikhami page, where you select Allow.

It asks you before it changes anything

Reading is instant. Sikhami tells the assistant to check with you before anything that changes your account: joining or leaving a meetup, publishing a post, or adding an admission enquiry. Posts are public as soon as they are made, so read the post it shows you before you say yes.

What Claude may do on Sikhami

  • See your Sikhami account (always included): Your profile, your courses and progress, the meetups you joined, your notifications and new followers, and everything public on Sikhami.
  • Act for you (you choose): Join or leave free meetups and publish posts with pictures or videos as you. It can never buy anything, send messages or delete your content.
  • Your institute's admissions (you choose): For institutes you own or run: read admission enquiries (names, phone numbers, emails) and add new ones.

No app can buy anything, pay, send or read messages, run ads, delete your content or see your password. Private profiles and learners under 18 never appear in any app.

Disconnect Claude

  1. On sikhami.com, go to Settings, then Connected apps.
  2. Under Apps you allowed (or Personal access tokens, if you used one), find Claude.
  3. Select Disconnect (or Delete for a token) and confirm. It stops working with your account at once.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything?
No. Sikhami charges nothing for this. Claude's own plans and limits apply.
Can Claude buy a course for me?
No. No connected app can buy or pay. Claude gives you the course's page on sikhami.com, where you buy it yourself.
It says it needs another permission. What do I do?
You switched that permission off when you connected. Disconnect the app in Connected apps, connect it again, and leave the permission on this time.
