Updated 18 October 2026 · Facts checked against the sources listed at the end
Edmingle is an LMS for professional training and skilling businesses, including exam preparation providers and training academies. Its India pricing page shows Core at ₹7,499, Prime at ₹14,999 and Power at ₹29,999 a month, billed annually, plus taxes. Its Maxx plan is priced on a quote, and there is a 7-day free trial. Sikhami is different. Setting it up is free, with no subscription. It adds classroom tools and a page where learners can find you, but no app or domain of your own.
This page is for coaching institute owners and training businesses in India who are comparing Edmingle with other options. It covers Edmingle's plans as its own site shows them and a side-by-side table. It also says when each one fits better, and gives a checklist for choosing any platform and Sikhami's own limits.
Edmingle at a glance
Sikhami wrote this comparison, and we make Sikhami, so please read it with that in mind. We checked every detail about Edmingle on its own website on 18 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check them again before you decide. Edmingle is a trademark of its owner; Sikhami is not connected with it.
Edmingle calls itself an AI-powered LMS built for professional training and skilling businesses. Its site names four groups it serves: training academies, exam preparation providers, online degree and certification providers, and companies that train their customers and partners. Its features are grouped into training operations, learner engagement, branding, and analytics.

How Sikhami earns, in plain words: setting up and using Sikhami is free, with no subscription. Sikhami earns only when a learner buys something paid online, such as a video course or notes. It keeps a share of that sale, and Google Play also takes its fee on purchases in the Android app. Before you save a price, Sikhami shows what you will receive per sale on the website and in the app. Classroom and batch fees are paid to you directly, and Sikhami takes nothing from them.
When Edmingle is the better choice
Edmingle fits better if any of these describe you.
- You run live online batches and want classes, recordings and attendance inside one platform. Sikhami does not host live classes.
- You want an app in your own brand, on Android from Prime or on iOS from Power.
- You need your own domain, and you want to remove the platform's branding.
- You train staff for companies and need SCORM, single sign-on, audit logs or a private cloud. These sit on Edmingle's higher plans.
- You want to message learners by SMS or WhatsApp from the platform, or run marketing campaigns.
- You need offline downloads in the app or piracy control. Sikhami has no DRM or download protection.
When Sikhami is the better choice
- You want to start without a yearly commitment. Setting up an institute on Sikhami is free, with no subscription and no trial that runs out.
- You teach in a classroom and collect fees yourself. Fee plans in monthly instalments, a fee book that shows what is overdue, and numbered receipts are free.
- You want learners to find you. Your institute and each course get a public page on a social network for learners, and learners browse institutes by category.
- You list classroom courses with seats. Learners apply, you confirm, and the course shows Seats full when it fills.
- You have a YouTube channel. A playlist can become a free course with tests and a certificate.
- You have staff. Admin, teacher and accountant roles let each person do their part, while only you manage courses and earnings.

Moving from Edmingle to Sikhami, or using both
You can run both for a while. For example, keep your live online batches where they are, and move one classroom batch and its fees to Sikhami first.
- Sign up on Sikhami, open Learning studio and choose New institute.
- Type the institute name, pick what you teach, and choose Create institute. It is saved as a draft.
- In Details, add your logo, username, about section, email, phone, address and map location. Email and phone are each confirmed with a code. Your institute needs all of these to go live.
- Under Batches, create a batch with its weekly timetable, and add students by their Sikhami username.
- Under Fees, give each student a fee plan. When a parent pays you, record it and tap Save and issue receipt.
- Under Courses, add a video course or a face-to-face course. Video courses are made on the website.
- Under Team, add your staff by their Sikhami username and give each a role.
Video courses are made on the website. Batches, attendance, fees, your team and classroom courses also work in the Android app, so you can mark attendance from your phone in class.
What to check before you pick any course platform
This list works for Edmingle, Sikhami or any other platform. Write the answers side by side before you pay.
- The full yearly cost at your real number of students, including taxes and add-ons.
- Whether the price is billed monthly or annually, and what happens to your courses if you stop paying.
- How many active learners each plan allows.
- Who owns the app listing and the web address.
- How students pay, which payment gateway is used, and what it charges per sale.
- Whether you can export student lists, results and content if you leave.
- Whether it handles your classroom work too: batches, attendance, fees and receipts.
- How a real chapter plays on an inexpensive Android phone, on mobile data.
Good to know before you start
- Sikhami does not give you a branded app, your own web address or a website builder. Students use the Sikhami website and Android app with a free account.
- Live classes run on Google Meet or Zoom. A batch keeps the link, but the class is not hosted on Sikhami.
- There is no DRM, download protection or screen-recording protection.
- Tests are multiple choice with one correct answer.
- Sikhami records batch fees and issues receipts. Parents do not pay batch fees through it, and it sends no fee reminders.
- Announcements reach the students of a video course in the app and by email, not by SMS or WhatsApp.
- You add students to a batch one at a time, by their Sikhami username.
