Teachmint Pricing, Plans and a Free Alternative for Tutors and Coaching Institutes

Updated 18 October 2026 · Facts checked against the sources listed at the end

Teachmint describes itself as a classroom technology company. Its core offering is Teachmint X, an interactive classroom panel with AI teaching tools. Its Android app lets teachers run live classes, tests and homework. A plans page in its online store lists a Free Plan from 1 April 2025 and an Enterprise Plan through sales, with no prices shown. Sikhami is a free LMS on a social network for learners, with course selling and classroom fee records, but no built-in live classes.

This page is for tutors and coaching institute owners who searched for Teachmint pricing or an alternative. Teachmint also sells products for schools, but here we focus on coaching and tuition. You will find what Teachmint offers and costs, a side-by-side table, when each one is the better choice, and how to try Sikhami.

Teachmint at a glance

Sikhami wrote this comparison, and we make Sikhami, so please read it with that in mind. We checked every detail about Teachmint on its own website and its Google Play listing on 18 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check them again before you decide. Teachmint is a trademark of its owner; Sikhami is not connected with it.

Teachmint says it serves schools, higher education and coaching institutes. For coaching, its site describes online, offline or hybrid classes, and live sessions for students who learn from a distance. It also describes recording, editing and sharing whiteboard lessons after class.

The Teachmint app

Teachmint's Android app on Google Play is called Teachmint AI Connected Classes. Its listing says it is for teachers, tutors and coaching institutes, and describes these tools:

  • Live classes with video, chat and screen sharing, which you can record for students to watch later.
  • Quizzes, tests and homework, with AI tools that make them and automated grading.
  • Attendance tracking.
  • Notes, PDFs and videos that you store and share, with reports on each student's progress.
  • Chat with students, announcements, and a way to stay in touch with students and parents.

Teachmint X, the classroom panel

Teachmint X is an interactive panel in 65, 75 and 86 inch sizes. Its site lists EduAI, an AI teaching assistant that makes quizzes, homework and class recaps. The panel also has an interactive whiteboard and lesson recording, and comes with a three-year on-site warranty. Its terms say the buyer must be an educational institute, a society or trust, or a registered business. They add that the product is not meant for individual consumers.

Products for schools

Teachmint also lists an Integrated School Platform for schools, with admission, attendance and fee management. One older Teachmint page, about fee management software, says that module is no longer available and points to Teachmint X. If you need fee tools, ask Teachmint what it offers today.

What Teachmint costs

Teachmint's pricing page shows the Teachmint X panels, with Order Now and Book a Demo buttons. It does not list prices for its software. A separate plans page in its online store lists two plans for its Connected Classroom offering.

PlanWhat the plans page shows
Free Plan (from 1 April 2025)Connected Classroom, Teacher App, Admin Login, Interactive Whiteboard, maths and science simulations, admin announcements, the EduAI teaching assistant, cloud storage and live class. No price is shown
Enterprise Plan (from 1 April 2025)Contact Sales, with a phone number. No price or feature list is shown
Teachmint Connected Classroom plans, as its own plans page shows them (18 October 2026)

The plans page does not say whether the Free Plan needs a Teachmint X panel. Teachmint's terms say it may charge fees, and that access lasts for the subscription or service period in your account. So ask what is free for you, and for how long, before you plan around it.

When Teachmint is the better choice

Teachmint suits some tutors and institutes better than Sikhami does, especially for live and in-class teaching:

  • You want live classes inside one app, with video, chat and screen sharing, and recordings for students who miss a class.
  • You want AI help to make homework, quizzes and tests, with automated grading.
  • You teach in a classroom and want an interactive panel with a digital whiteboard, lesson recording and AI tools.
  • You want to chat with students and keep parents in touch from the same app.
  • You also run a school and want a platform made for schools.

Sikhami does not host live classes and has no parent login. If those two points matter most to you, look closely at Teachmint's app.

When Sikhami is the better choice

  • You want to start free. Setting up an institute and using it costs nothing, with no subscription, on the website and in the Android app.
  • You want new learners to find you. Your institute and each course get a public page on a social network for learners. Learners find you by browsing the categories you teach.
  • You want to sell recorded courses online. Set prices for 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or lifetime. Learners pay by UPI, card or net banking on the website, or through Google Play in the app.
  • You collect classroom fees by hand. Give each student a fee plan in monthly instalments, record each payment and issue a numbered receipt. Sikhami takes nothing from these fees.
  • Your lectures are on YouTube. Import a playlist as a free course, then add tests and a certificate of completion.
  • You want certificates that anyone can check. Each certificate has its own ID and a public page.

We did not find course selling described on the Teachmint pages we checked, so ask Teachmint if you need it. Before you save a price on Sikhami, it shows what you will receive per sale on the website and in the app. See what Sikhami's free LMS includes, and how the fee book and receipts work.

How to try Sikhami alongside Teachmint

Keep teaching live where you do now. Use Sikhami for your recorded lessons, your public page and your classroom records.

Illustration: a batch's weekly timetable and today's attendance.
  1. Sign up on Sikhami, open Learning studio and choose New institute.
  2. Type your institute name, pick what you teach, and choose Create institute. It is saved as a draft.
  3. In Details, add your logo, username, about section, email, phone, full address and map location. Your institute needs these before it can go live.
  4. Under Batches, create a batch with its weekly timetable.
  5. Add students by their Sikhami username, so they see their own attendance percentage and fee status.
  6. Under Fees, give each student a fee plan. Record payments and issue receipts.
  7. On the website, add a video course under Courses, from your own recordings or a YouTube playlist.

Attendance takes a tap per student: present, late or absent. You, your admins and the teachers of that batch can mark it, on the website or in the Android app.

What to check before you pick any teaching app

Whatever you choose, these checks save trouble later. Ask each company for written answers.

  • What exactly is free, for how long, and does the free part need any hardware?
  • Can students join on the phones they already have, on mobile data?
  • Can you sell recorded courses, and what is kept from each sale?
  • Who collects fees, and who issues receipts?
  • Can new learners find you there, or must you bring every student yourself?
  • Can you export your students, marks and payment records if you leave?
  • Does it handle classroom batches, attendance and fees as well as online classes?
  • Who answers support calls, in which language, and when?

Good to know before you start

  • Live classes are not hosted on Sikhami. Each batch keeps your Google Meet or Zoom link, so students always find it.
  • Sikhami does not give you your own app, your own web address or a website builder. Students use the Sikhami website and Android app with a free account.
  • The fee book records fees you collect yourself. Parents do not pay batch fees through Sikhami, and there are no fee reminders.
  • Parents do not have their own login. Students added by username see their own attendance percentage and fee status.
  • Tests are multiple choice with one correct answer.
  • Video courses are created on the website. Batches, attendance, fees, your team and classroom courses also work in the Android app.
  • There is no DRM, download protection or screen-recording protection for videos.
