The Sikhami Android app

How to get the Sikhami app from Google Play, how one account works in the app and on the website, how shared links open, and the few things that work differently in the app.

Updated 22 October 2026

Sikhami has an app for Android phones on Google Play. It uses the same account as the website, so your profile, posts, followers, messages and courses are the same in both places.

You do not need the app. The website works on computers and in the browser of any phone or tablet. Use whichever you like.

Get the app

  1. On your Android phone, open Get Sikhami on Android. It takes you to the Sikhami app on Google Play. You also find a Google Play button on the Sikhami homepage, and a Get Sikhami on Google Play link under the login box.
  2. Install the app.
  3. Open it and log in with the same phone number, Google account or email you use on the website.

There is no Sikhami app for iPhone or iPad. On those devices, open sikhami.com in Safari or another browser. The full website works on phones.

One account in both places

  • Everything you do on the website shows in the app, and the other way round: posts, clips, follows, chats and saved posts.
  • A course you buy can be watched on the website and in the app.
  • Notes you buy can be read on the website and in the app.
  • Log in the same way you signed up. A phone number and a Google account are different ways in, and can lead to different accounts.
  • A guest account cannot be opened in the app. Keep it first with Keep your account on the website. See Guest accounts.

When someone shares a post, clip, profile, club, course or anything else from Sikhami, the link starts with sikhami.com/open. Links in Sikhami's notification emails work the same way. Where such a link takes you depends on your device:

  • On a computer, the link opens the item on the website.
  • On an Android phone with the app, the link can open straight in the app.
  • Otherwise, you see a page called Open Sikhami that says the link opens inside the Sikhami app. On an Android phone it offers Open in the Sikhami app and a link to get the app on Google Play. On other devices it shows the Google Play button. In both cases you can choose View on the web (or Continue on the web) to stay on the website with the same account.

A meetup invite link opens a page that says You have been invited to a meetup. Choose Open in the Sikhami app, or View this meetup on the web to see the meetup details and chat after you log in.

What works differently

TaskOn the websiteIn the Android app
Change the email or phone number on your accountNot possible. The Settings page says: Changing your email or phone number is still done in the app.Done here
Pay for a course, notes, or a seat in a club or study roomPaid through Sikhami's payment gatewayPaid through Google Play
Pay for an in-person meetup ticketPaid the same way as on the appPaid the same way as on the website
Price you payThe price the seller setThe same price
Items priced above ₹50,000Can be sold and boughtCannot be sold inside the app

Google Play keeps a service fee of 15% on sales made inside the app, so a seller receives less for an app sale than for a website sale. Buyers pay the same. For the full sums, see What you earn on Sikhami.
