Find teachers and institutes
Browse the Teachers and Institutes directories, read a teacher's or institute's page, follow them, read and write reviews, ask questions, and contact them.
Updated 24 October 2026
On Sikhami, teachers can make a teacher profile, and schools, colleges and coaching centres can make an institute page. These pages show what they teach, their courses, their ratings and how to contact them.
This article is for learners who want to find a teacher or an institute. If you want to make your own, see Teacher profile or Create an institute.
Where to find teachers and institutes
- Open More in the menu on the left and choose Teachers or Institutes. On a phone, tap the Teachers or Institutes tile on Explore.
- Use the Teachers or Institutes tab in Search. You can filter by subject, exam, language, state, experience and more. See Search filters.
- Open a subject in Categories and pick the Teachers or Institutes tab.
- Open a course from an institute: its page links to the institute that offers it.
The Teachers and Institutes pages
Both pages have three tabs:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Popular | Published teacher profiles or institutes, most popular first. |
| Newest | The most recently created ones. |
| My teacher profile or My institutes | The ones you made yourself, published or not. Tapping one opens it for editing. |
Each tab shows up to 20 cards. A teacher card shows the photo, name, @username, star rating (if there are reviews), followers and likes. An institute card shows the logo, name, rating, followers and number of courses. The Create button at the top right starts your own teacher profile or institute.

Not verified label and public pages
If Sikhami has not verified a teacher or institute yet, its page shows a Not verified label. Tap the small info button next to it to read: this has not been checked by Sikhami yet, so check the details before you pay or share personal information.
Teachers and institutes also have a public page that anyone can read, even without a Sikhami account. When you share a teacher or institute, the link opens this public page.
- A teacher's public page shows the name, star rating, followers, description and courses.
- An institute's public page shows the name, city and state, number of courses, followers, description, courses and teachers.
- The Follow on Sikhami button opens the full page on Sikhami, where you can follow, review and ask questions after you sign in.
