Sikhami Credits
What the Sikhami Credits page shows: your credit balance, your coupon code for inviting friends, and your credit history. Credits are points, not money, and they are not your ad balance.
Updated 22 October 2026
Sikhami Credits are points on your Sikhami account. They are not money. You cannot pay for anything with them, turn them into cash, or use them for ads.
If you are looking for the money you add to run ads, that is your ad account's balance, which is a different thing. See Ad budget and billing.
Where to find it
Open Settings & privacy: on a computer from More at the bottom of the left menu, on a phone from the ⋯ on your profile. In the Money group, choose Sikhami Credits. The row shows how many credits you have. You can also go straight to Sikhami Credits.
What the page shows
- Available balance: how many credits you have, with a Use credits button that opens Notes.
- Earn credits: your coupon code, a pencil button to change it, and a Share button.
- How credits work: tap it to open a short explanation.
- Transactions: your credit history, with the filters All, Additions, Deductions and Expired. It shows your 20 most recent entries.
Each transaction shows a name, the date and the number of credits: a plus sign for credits added and a minus sign for credits taken off or expired. The names you may see are Sign-up credits, Referral credits, Credits purchased, Credits added, Credits used, Study material and Credits expired. A transaction for a study material opens those notes when you tap it.
How you get credits
- New accounts start with some sign-up credits.
- When a new user signs up in the Android app and types your coupon code, you both receive referral credits. The sign-up on the website does not ask for a coupon code.
Your coupon code
- Under Earn credits, press the pencil button.
- In the Your coupon code window, type a code. It needs at least 6 characters, letters and numbers, and no spaces. It must not be used by anyone else on Sikhami. Letters become capitals.
- Press Save. You see "Coupon code saved".
If the code is too short or has a space, you see "Use at least 6 characters with no spaces." If someone already has it, you see "That coupon code is already taken."
Press Share to send an invite with your code. If your browser has a share menu, it opens. If not, the invite text is copied so you can paste it anywhere, and you see "Invite text copied". If you have no code yet, you see "Create a coupon code first."
This coupon code is only for inviting friends. It is not a discount code. Course discount codes are made by institutes and typed at the course checkout; see How to pay.
Using credits
The page says that credits unlock downloads of paid study materials in Notes. At the moment, nothing on Sikhami takes credits from your balance: free notes download without credits, and notes with a price are paid for with money at checkout. Your balance and your history stay on this page.
Credits listed under Expired cannot be restored.
Questions
Can I turn my credits into money?
No. Credits are points and have no cash value.
Are Sikhami Credits the same as my ad balance?
No. Your ad balance is real money you add in the Ads Manager. See Ad budget and billing.
Can I pay for notes or a course with credits?
No. Items with a price are paid for with money. See How to pay.
My friend joined but I got no credits. Why?
Referral credits are given only when the new user types your coupon code while signing up in the Android app.
Can I change my coupon code?
Yes. Press the pencil button and save a new code. It must be unique on Sikhami.
