Clubs

How to find and join clubs on Sikhami, pay for a paid club, use the club's posts and chat, renew a membership that has ended, and leave a club.

Updated 22 October 2026

A club is a group of learners on Sikhami who share a goal or an interest, such as an exam, a subject or a hobby. Members post in the club and talk together in the club's group chat.

Some clubs are free. Others are paid: you pay to be a member for a period, such as one month or one year. This article is for members. To start your own club, see Create a club.

Find clubs

On a computer, click Clubs in the menu on the left. On a phone, tap Explore at the bottom, then Clubs. You can also find clubs with Search.

Tabs on the Clubs page

Under the tabs, choose Any price, Free or Paid to filter the list.

Each club card shows its logo and name, the number of members and likes, the level and language when the owner set them, a star rating once it has reviews, and the price to join (₹0 for a free club). Some cards also have a Private tag: the owner has made the club private, and it has no public page for people who are not logged in.

My clubs lists the clubs you created, not the ones you joined. Clubs you joined appear in Messages under Clubs once their chat has a message.

The club page

  • At the top: the logo, the name, the category, the number of members (tap it to see Members), the most members allowed, and the price to join.
  • Small tags for level, language, exams, subjects and other details, then the club's description.
  • A row of buttons: Join (or Joined), Chat for members, a heart to like the club, a bookmark to save it, Share, and a flag to Report it.
  • Reviews, where you can tap Write a review (or Edit your review).
  • Post in club, for members and the owner.
  • Tabs with what members have posted: Posts, Clips, Polls and Audios.

If you created the club, you also see Manage at the top. See Create a club.

Join a free club

  1. Open the club page.
  2. Tap Join. You can also tap Join club on the club's card in the list.
  3. The button changes to Joined, and a Chat button appears.

If the club has reached its most members, you see "This club is full." and you cannot join.

Join a paid club

  1. Open the club page and tap Join for ₹… (the button with a lock).
  2. The Checkout page shows the club. If the owner offers more than one period, choose one under How long: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Some clubs are sold for a Lifetime.
  3. Check the Joining fee and the Total.
  4. Tap Pay with the price and complete the payment. Payments are made through Razorpay.
  5. The page says You are in. You are now a member. Tap Open the club.

Your membership lasts for the period you chose, starting on the day you pay. It does not renew by itself. For payment methods and problems, see How to pay.

To join a paid club, use the Join for ₹… button on the club page. The Join club button on a club's card works only for free clubs.

Inside the club

  • Post in club opens a form to share a post with the club. See Create a post.
  • Chat opens the club's group chat. See Club and meetup chats.
  • The Posts, Clips, Polls and Audios tabs show what members have shared in the club.

Anyone who is logged in and opens the club page can see its posts. Only members and the owner can post in the club and use its chat. The club's public page, for people who are not logged in, describes the club, its price and who runs it, but does not show its posts, chat or member list.

When a paid membership ends

While your membership is active, the club page says "Your membership runs until" and the date.

When the period ends, the club page says "Your membership has ended." and shows Renew for ₹…. The club chat locks until you renew.

  1. Tap Renew for ₹… on the club page.
  2. The checkout says "Your access to this club has ended. Pick a period to carry on." Choose a period.
  3. Tap Renew with the price and pay.

If you joined a club while it was free, you stay a member and keep its chat even if the owner adds a price later.

Leave a club

  1. Open the club page.
  2. Tap Joined.
  3. Sikhami asks "Leave this club?" and says "You can join again any time." Tap Leave.

After you leave, you can no longer use the club chat or post in the club. If you leave a paid club before your period ends, you can join it again without paying until that period ends. For money back, see Refunds.

Common problems

  • The chat says "Join to see the chat". You are not a member yet. Join the club first.
  • The chat says "Your membership has ended". Your paid period is over. Renew it.
  • I cannot find a club I joined. Search for it, or look in Messages under Clubs.
  • Joining from the card shows an error. The club is paid. Open the club page and use Join for ₹….
  • The club chat does not open right after joining. Wait a few seconds and open Chat again.
