Delete your account

Updated 22 October 2026
You can delete your Sikhami account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Deleting is permanent. It cannot be undone.
Your login is closed at once, and the rest of your data is deleted within 30 days.
Before you delete
- You will not be able to log in to this account again.
- Courses, notes, memberships and anything else you bought belong to this account. You lose access to them when the account is closed.
- Sikhami has no option to pause or switch off an account for a while. There is only delete.
- If you only want fewer people to see your posts, you can make your account private instead.
- If you sell on Sikhami and have a question about money owed to you, write to help@sikhami.com before you delete.
Delete your account on the website
- Log in and open Settings: select More (computer) or ⋯ on your profile (phone), then Settings & privacy.
- Select Account. You can also go straight to Settings > Account.
- Under Delete account, read the note and select Delete my account.
- A box opens. Type DELETE in the box. Letters are changed to capitals as you type.
- Select Permanently delete. The button works only when the box says DELETE.
Your account is closed and you are signed out straight away.
If you see "Account deletion failed. Try logging in again first.", log out, log in again, and repeat the steps.
Other ways to delete
The public page Delete your Sikhami account lists every way. You can open it without logging in. In Settings it is the row How to delete your account.
- In the Android app: open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm.
- Without logging in: fill in the Account Deletion Request Form linked on the Delete your Sikhami account page. Use the phone number or email address registered on your account, so Sikhami can check that the account is yours.
- By email: write to help@sikhami.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Sikhami account".
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, phone number and email.
- Your posts, clips, stories, comments, polls, likes, saves and quiz history.
- Your messages and club memberships.
- Your followers and following lists, notifications and device tokens (the codes that let Sikhami send alerts to your devices).
- Your sign-in details with Google, phone or email.
What is kept
Sikhami keeps only what the law requires it to keep. This includes records of reports you made or that were made about your account, and payment records for purchases.
