Updated 22 October 2026

A Super Chat is a paid message. It appears in a coloured box pinned above the other comments or messages for a while. The more you pay, the longer it stays pinned. The money goes to the person you send it to, after Sikhami's fee.

You can send a Super Chat on a post, on a clip, in a live stream or in a direct message.

The button is a speech bubble with a rupee sign, called Send a Super Chat. You do not see it on your own posts, clips or lives, and you cannot send a Super Chat to yourself. Super Chat is not available in club chats, meetup chats or study rooms.

Send a Super Chat

  1. Select Send a Super Chat. The Send a Super Chat box opens.
  2. Under Amount, pick an amount. The card at the top shows how your message will look and how long it will stay pinned.
  3. Type your message in Say something. It can be up to 200 characters and cannot be empty.
  4. Select Send with the amount, for example Send ₹100, and pay through Razorpay.

When the payment goes through, you see "Sent. It is pinned to the top." The message appears at once for everyone who can see that conversation. If you close the payment window before paying, nothing is pinned.

  • When its time ends, a Super Chat is no longer shown.

Who can see it

  • On a post, a clip or a live stream: everyone who opens those comments or that live chat.
  • In a direct message: only the two people in the chat.

The pinned box shows your name, the amount and your message.

Who gets the money

The money goes to the owner of the post or clip, to the person who is live, or to the other person in the direct message. Sikhami keeps a fee of 20% of the money that reaches it, the same as for any sale, and pays them the rest to the bank details they saved.

The person you send it to gets a notification that says you sent them a Super Chat. The amount is not in the notification. They see it on their Earnings page, which also shows their Super Chat money by place: lives, clips, posts and messages.

A Super Chat buys a place at the top of the conversation for a while. It does not unlock anything. A Super Chat sent in the last seconds of a live still goes through, even if the live ends before the payment finishes.

After you send it

  • You cannot edit or delete a Super Chat after you send it.
  • Your payment and its invoice are in Settings & privacy, under My orders and payments, in the Payments tab.
  • To learn about payment problems and refunds, see How to pay and Refunds.
