Learning studio and Creator studio
Sikhami has two studios where you make and manage things. The Learning studio holds your institutes, courses and teacher profile. The Creator studio holds your clubs, meetups, notes and study rooms.
Updated 22 October 2026
A studio is your workspace on Sikhami. It is where you create things for other people and manage what you have made. Sikhami has two studios, and you use the same account for both.
The Learning studio is for teaching: your institutes, your courses and your teacher profile. The Creator studio is for everything else you make: posts, clips, clubs, meetups, notes, study rooms and live streams.
How to open a studio
- On a computer: in the menu on the left, click More. Under Your studios, click Learning studio or Creator studio.
- On a phone: open the Profile tab and tap ⋯ to open Settings and activity. Then tap Learning studio or Creator studio.
- The Settings page also has a Learning studio row and a Creator studio row.
- The Create menu starts things from both studios: Course and Institute open the Learning studio forms; Club, Meetup, Notes and Study room open the Creator studio forms.
Direct links: Learning studio and Creator studio. The address /studio on its own opens the Learning studio.
What is in the Learning studio
At the top are three cards, Institutes, Courses and Teacher profile, each with the number you have. Under them are three tabs. The button at the top right of the page changes with the tab you are on.
| Tab | What it lists | Button at the top |
|---|---|---|
| My institutes | Institutes you own, and institutes where the owner added you to the team. Those show You're on the team. | New institute |
| My courses | Courses you own, and courses you co-teach. Those show You co-teach. Under the list is Course bundles. | New course |
| My teacher profile | Your teacher profile. Each account can have only one. | New teacher profile, or Your teacher profile once you have one |
Every item shows a Published or Draft tag, plus numbers such as followers or students. A draft does not appear in the public lists of courses, teachers or institutes. Click an item to open its manage page.
Courses live under an institute. Create your institute first, then add courses to it. If you only want a personal teacher page, create a teacher profile; you do not need an institute for that.
What is in the Creator studio
The Creator studio has three parts:
- Create: tiles to start a Post, Poll, Video, Voice clip, Clip, Club, Meetup, Notes, Study room or Live. Post, Poll, Video and Voice clip open the Create post window; the others open their own pages.
- Earn from your audience: set up a paid membership for your followers. See Memberships.
- Four tabs that list what you have made: My clubs, My meetups, My notes and My study rooms. Each item shows its Published or Draft tag and numbers such as members, people going or downloads.
Your posts and clips are not listed in the Creator studio. They are on your profile.

If you cannot create anything
While your account is suspended, the New buttons at the top of the Learning studio are hidden, and the Creator studio shows the reason in place of its Create tiles. The pages for making something new show the reason too. You can still open the things you already made.
To learn why this happens and what you can do, see Account suspension and moderation.
Questions
Do I need a separate account to teach or to run an institute?
No. Log in with your normal Sikhami account and open the Learning studio. Your institutes, courses and teacher profile all belong to that account.
Is it free to use the studios?
Yes. Making things in the studios is free. When you sell something, Sikhami keeps a fee from each sale. See What you earn on Sikhami.
Why does an institute in my list say "You're on the team"?
The owner of that institute added you to its team. You can open it and do the work your role allows. See Institute team and roles.
Why does a course in my list say "You co-teach"?
You accepted a request to teach that course. You can work on its lectures, analytics and announcements, but the price, publishing and orders stay with its owner. See Teacher profile.
Where do I find my posts and clips?
On your profile. The Creator studio lists only your clubs, meetups, notes and study rooms.
